Boom crane
The contract involved the comprehensive repair of a DERRICK crane manufactured by GIACOMINI in 1995, which was damaged during operation while serving a stone quarry.
During the project, some components of the old boom were reused. After conducting a detailed inspection and inventory, the boom was transported to HAK’s production facility. The company prepared a design for the new boom, based on which the missing structural sections were manufactured and integrated with the existing ones. New wiring and rigging for the equipment were also installed.
Following the assembly of the boom at the customer's site, HAK personnel performed the necessary tests and participated in inspections conducted by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT).
