Inspections, repairs, and certification of sling gear

In addition to designing and manufacturing various types of crane accessories, we offer professional inspection, repair, and certification services for chain slings, wire rope slings, webbing slings, and specialized slings. As with other crane accessories, the frequency and scope of inspections are dictated by regulatory requirements.

Sling inspections and controls

Inspections are conducted in compliance with the following standards:

chain slings: PN-91/M-84701,
steel wire rope slings: PN-EN 13414-1+A2:2009,
fibre slings: PN-EN 1492-1+A1:2008.

If an inspection reveals any damage to a sling, we are ready to perform the necessary repairs.

Sling repairs

Our inspection and repair standards include:

inspections conducted by highly qualified personnel with the required certifications,
repairs carried out exclusively with certified materials,
slings are subjected to strength tests after repairs to ensure safe operation,
each sling receives individual marking after inspection and repair, including a certificate number, load capacity, and the date of the next inspection,
certificates of testing and inspection are issued for each sling.

Sling certification

Sling certification concludes the inspection and repair processes for all types of slings. It is documented with a written confirmation of the sling's functionality and strength, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Scope of sling certification:

reconstruction of design and technical documentation,
strength calculations,
analysis of applied design solutions for compliance with the minimum requirements specified by the European Parliament Directive 89/655/EEC (Machinery Directive),
strength testing,
individual sling marking, specifying the certificate number, load capacity, and the date of the next inspection,
issuance of appropriate certificates.
