Helicopter Transfer Platforms

Transborders are mobile load-bearing structures used to move large wheeled vehicles—such as wagons, locomotives, and cars—from one track to another, whether it is a parallel horizontal track or one positioned at an angle to the original track. A special example of a transfer device is the one designed to move a helicopter from the landing zone to the inside of a hangar.

Loading and unloading on the transfer device can be done using external equipment, through its own pulling device, or—as in the case of helicopter transfer devices—by landing directly on the transfer platform.
