Crane for Transporting Zinc Dross Molds
A pillar crane with a specially designed jib and a stationary hoist mounted directly next to the crane pillar due to specific structural conditions. The arm is rotated by a gear motor mounted on a bearing-supported pillar. The crane's work area is fenced off. The crane for transporting zinc dross molds is remotely controlled via a radio system.
Application:
- The crane allows for scooping dross into a mold submerged in a vat of molten zinc, draining it by lifting it above the zinc surface, then transporting the mold and automatically unloading it.
