Wall-mounted jib cranes

Wall-mounted jib cranes are a type of in-house crane typically used for individual workstations. Their functional advantage lies in their high load capacity, while their structural benefit is the ability to be mounted on existing structural elements of a facility without the need for alterations or upgrades. This makes wall-mounted cranes an excellent solution for tasks such as servicing individual machines or specific activities. The largest wall-mounted jib cranes can cover a significant portion of a hall, increasing both efficiency and safety.

HAK offers a wide range of wall-mounted jib cranes, varied in terms of technical capabilities and mechanisms used. All wall-mounted cranes are designed and manufactured based on the customer’s requirements and installation options. They are equipped with hoists from renowned global manufacturers, and each device is provided with quality certification, necessary documentation, and a warranty.

Wall-Mounted Cranes – Construction and Functionality

The primary component of a wall-mounted jib crane is the jib, which is directly mounted to a wall or pillar – a horizontal arm on which a manual or electric hoist is attached to a traveling trolley. The area covered by the crane's operation is determined by two factors: the mounting height of the jib with the hoist, which dictates the lifting height, and the length of the jib, which defines the radius of the crane's working area. The way the jib is mounted restricts the rotation of the arm to 180°, and in cases where the crane is mounted on a pillar, the rotation can reach up to 270°.

Among wall-mounted cranes, the ZPP wall-mounted crane offers the highest performance, designed for the heaviest tasks – its jib can be up to 12 meters long, and its load capacity can reach up to 10 tons. Mid-range capabilities are represented by the cantilever wall-mounted crane, often chosen for its good price-to-performance ratio. Due to its design, it can achieve the maximum lifting height within the given technical conditions. The lightest in construction are wall-mounted cranes with tie rods, used for lifting smaller loads and servicing machines.
