Special Foundry Crane

A double-girder crane designed for operation in high-temperature environments. The device is equipped with high-quality thermal protection for key mechanisms – drives, hoists, gripping mechanisms, and electrical or traction systems. Designed according to the principles of liquid mass transportation.

Applications:

• Transporting loads in high-temperature zones, such as in steel mills or foundries,
• Handling ladles for liquid materials during emptying,
• Operation of various types of furnaces.

Technical Description:

• The crane is designed in compliance with regulations for lifting liquid masses,
• Operating temperature range from -20°C to +65°C,
• The control system is mounted in an electrical cabinet and fully installed,
• Emergency limit switch for the hoist in the upper and lower positions,
• Thermal protection installed under the rope drum and the lifting and driving mechanisms,
• Thermal protection attached to the load-handling device,
• Thermal protection on the hook, lifting gear under the rope drum, and drive,
• Protection mounted on the traction system,
• Electric cabinet with cooling, Load summation system with an additional hoist for 20,000 kg,
• The specified parameters can be customized to meet the user’s needs.
