A system of two double-girder cranes operating in tandem through a mechanical coupling. The cranes are equipped with column hoists, each fitted with a set of magnets mounted on swiveling rotary slings.

Applications:

• transporting long steel elements such as sheet piles, I-beams, girders, and rails,
• transport requiring synchronized operation of devices,
• handling and precise manipulation of steel loads during loading processes.

Technical description:

• each double-girder crane is equipped with hoists featuring telescopic columns,
• the telescopic columns are fitted with lifting beams holding electromagnets,
• the electromagnets are mounted on swiveling rotary slings,
• the swiveling slingsallow for: the cranes can operate independently or in tandem, a linear arrangement of electromagnets in a single row for transporting a single sheet pile two-row configuration for paired sheet piles,
• the tandem system functions through a mechanical coupling and automatic communication between the cranes,
• due to machinery and installations present in the hall, the cranes are equipped with a system that limits their operational area,
• crane control is operated from a cabin or remotely via a radio system,
• the specified parameters can be tailored to the user’s specific requirements.
