Rail Systems on Concrete Foundations
HAK Sp. z o.o. offers design and construction services for gantry rail systems on concrete foundations, tailored for cranes, hoists, transport platforms, winches, and lifting equipment. We use top-quality materials and modern technologies to ensure high resistance to loads generated by gantries and long-lasting durability.
We also provide expertise, measurements, and undertake repairs and modernization of gantry rail systems on concrete foundations. Our experience and team of specialists enable us to handle high-demand rail systems in difficult conditions in facilities with extensive infrastructure.
We design and execute:
- Rail systems on concrete foundations using the elastic rail fastening system.
- Rail systems on concrete foundations using the semi-elastic rail fastening system.
- Rail systems on concrete foundations using the rigid rail fastening system.
- Crane runways and other gantry equipment bases - support structures, foundations, viaducts, etc.
Designing Rail Systems on Concrete Foundations
HAK Sp. z o.o. offers rail system design services for gantry systems on concrete foundations. We prepare projects for our own implementations and also support designers and experts in all activities to ensure smooth operation of the rail system for many years.
Installation of Rail Systems on Concrete Foundations
The tolerances required for rail installation are significantly narrower than those for mounting gantry beams. Rails can and should be joined by welding them into a continuous line using specified methods different from those used for welding structural steel. Specialized knowledge of installation techniques guarantees effective, trouble-free use of rail systems for many years. A well-developed project, highly skilled personnel, and appropriate materials and equipment enable us to provide comprehensive installation services for gantry rail systems on concrete foundations.
Elastic Rail Fastening on Concrete Foundations
Elastic rail fastening on concrete foundations is achieved using the GANTRAIL elastic rail fastening system. The diagram below illustrates two main methods for fastening rails to a concrete foundation:
- The first method (on the left) uses clamps fixed to a steel base plate by welding the lower part of the clamp.
- The second method involves bolting the clamps to the foundation using anchors set in the concrete or threaded studs welded to the steel base plate.
An alternative, depending on the environment, wheel loads, and temperature, is to use a system without an elastic pad. This method is complemented by the use of special compounds to fill the space between a level continuous plate or individual steel pads and the foundation.
