Bridge Crane with Load-Bearing Structure

Single-girder overhead bridge cranes are one of the most commonly used solutions for close-range transport within halls and warehouses. The design of these cranes consists of a bridge with a single girder supported by end carriages equipped with travel units, allowing the crane bridge to move along the track.

The track for the single-girder overhead bridge crane is usually mounted on the structural elements of the hall or on a specially adapted structure. One track can accommodate one or several cranes of this type, equipped with anti-collision systems.

Single-Girder Overhead Cranes

Single-girder overhead bridge cranes are one of the most frequently used solutions for close-range transport within halls and warehouses. The design of these cranes is based on a bridge with a single girder, supported by end carriages equipped with travel units, which allow the crane bridge to move along the track.

The track for the single-girder overhead crane is typically mounted on the structural elements of the hall or on a specially adapted structure. One track can accommodate one or several cranes of this type, equipped with anti-collision systems.

The basic equipment of a single-girder overhead crane includes an electric hoist or winch. The control of the crane's travel along the track and the lifting and moving mechanisms is done via a control panel or a radio system. These cranes have a load capacity ranging from 1.6 tons to 10 tons, with a bridge span of up to 36 meters.
