Self-Releasing Hook for Load
The hook is designed for dropping tetrapods used for shoreline reinforcement. The mechanism allows the load to be released after being set down from a safe distance. A rope, visible in the image of the device, is used to release the load. This type of hook can also be used in many other industrial sectors and beyond. For example, it can be used for lowering vehicles from significant heights, as is often seen in film productions.
Application:
Transporting and releasing loads in areas with difficult access.
