Industrial crane with magnetic spreader beam
Crane systems used for transporting sheet piles, both in standalone and tandem modes. The device is equipped with a set of hoists and a spreader beam for handling the load. Depending on requirements, the crane can be controlled either remotely or directly by the operator from a platform mounted on the crane girder
Applications:
- transporting sheet piles—rolled sections used to construct watertight retaining walls, known as Larsen walls,
- transporting rolled profiles and steel structures.
Technical Description:
- each double-girder crane is equipped with hoists with telescopic columns,
- the telescopic columns are fitted with spreader beams with electromagnets,
- the electromagnets are mounted on swivel, rotating links,
- swivel links allow for the linear arrangement of electromagnets in a single row for transporting individual sheet piles or in two rows for paired sheet piles,
- cranes can operate independently or in tandem,
- tandem operation is facilitated by mechanical coupling and an automatic communication system between the cranes,
- due to the presence of machines and installations in the hall, the cranes are equipped with a field restriction system,
- crane operation is managed from the cabin or remotely via a radio system.
Parameters can be adjusted to meet user-specific needs.
