Double-Girder Overhead Crane in Metal Processing Plants

Double-girder overhead cranes are employed in all industries. They serve as equipment for production halls and warehouses and are also designed for use in open areas of industrial sites.

The main component of a double-girder overhead crane is a bridge consisting of two parallel girders supported by end carriages. The end carriages are equipped with a traveling mechanism, allowing the crane to move along the track. The track for these cranes is installed on a specially designed structure with adequate strength. One or more cranes of this type can move along a single track, equipped with collision prevention systems.

The standard equipment for double-girder cranes includes electric hoists, and the control of the traveling mechanism and load lifting system is managed via a radio control system. These cranes have capacities ranging from 1.6 tons to 400 tons, with a bridge span of up to 35 meters.
