Overhead Crane with Support Structure

Single-girder overhead traveling cranes are one of the most commonly used solutions for material handling inside halls and warehouses. The construction of these cranes is based on a bridge consisting of a single girder supported by end carriages equipped with traveling units, allowing the crane bridge to move along a track.

The track for the single-girder overhead crane is usually mounted on the structural elements of the hall or on a structure specially adapted for this purpose. One or more cranes of this type can move along a single track, equipped with anti-collision systems.

The basic equipment of a single-girder overhead crane is an electric hoist or winch. The crane's movement along the track and the lifting and handling of loads are controlled via a pendant control or a radio system. These types of cranes have a lifting capacity from 1.6t to 10t, with a bridge span of up to 36 meters.
