RAILS ON STEEL RUNWAY BEAM – GENERAL INFORMATION

FLEXIBLE RAIL MOUNTING SYSTEM - RAILS ON STEEL RUNWAY BEAM:

Below you can find a drawing that shows two main ways of mounting rails on steel beam:

• First to the left is mounting using clips bolted to the steel beam with bolts  put in holes drilled in a beam. Clips can be also fixed with threaded pin welded to the crane runway beam.
• Another way is mounting rails using clips fixed by welding the bottom part of the clip to the beam.

Depending on the environment, wheel load, temperature we can mount the rail without using pad.
